My tumblr has been quite empty lately, as I have not been creating much new work due to my current employment situation. However, there is good news and brand new things coming, just over the horizon.
Here is another project I made for Bazooka Zoo, an awesome new group out of reno. This new album was released about on the 21 of December and it is the hottest thing since sliced milk. Check it out.

I recently created branding and signage for a small “Antique Chic” store in Boulder City called Bloom. I created signage, tags, business cards, stickers, and letterhead for the company. The logotype is an attempt at being floral without being overly cliché or literal wih the company name. I achieved this by treating the letters as though they were made of vines with leaves for the difference in line-weight.

I am deeply sorry internet, I lied to you. I said I was to post every day, and I let other things get in my way. I was super busy this past weekend, with neon reverb and all, but I promise I have lots more to come. Although, I won’t promise every day this time, because we know how that turns out. I am doing my best to photograph the large amount of projects I have recently finished, So I have some stuff lined up still.
Anyway, this piece is a collaboration between Brandon Dail and myself. He has been making some really rad collage work lately that I have been totally into, and I saw this piece and asked if we could collaborate and make an animated version. This is a GIF created for web purposes, but the video will also fit nicely into the VJ set that I am currently working on, as it matches the aesthetic quite well.
This piece was originally collage on cardboard and is now in motion, through the magic of technology. To buy prints, check out Brandon’s store, where this piece as well as quite a few more awesome collages are for sale.

So the Neon Reverb festival is upon us again, Las Vegas. My band is playing tomorrow night at the Royal Resort along with Candy Warpop, Pet Tigers, and Acton Town as a part of the festival.
Here is a negative shot of some limited edition (fairly last minute) shirts I designed for Candy Warpop to sell at the show.
I am in the process of screen printing these shirts right now, along with my girlfriend (and singer of Candy Warpop), Beatrice. I wanted to post one of the shirts after it was actually printed but it doesn’t look like we will have the first print done until just after midnight due to some bad emulsion and some issues with printing negatives. So here is a sample shot of the design…
I will update with a photo of the actual shirts once the first is done being printed.

He has also just recently moved into a situation in which he will be creating much more music at a much higher caliber for sure, so keep your eyes out for this kid.
I am almost done with this exlodey-head collage motif I have been stuck on for a while, This is the last one I promise! (though there might still be a couple more)
I am going to redesign my blog when I get some free time, but for now this will suffice. I’ve got a lot of work coming in, hopefully it stays that way so I can keep my promise of posting every day.
I’m saving the interior spread for a fallback if I have nothing to post someday soon…

So I have this blog now. for some reason, I thought it would be a good idea to post my work on here to keep the internet aware of what I am creating. I am regretting it already.
Either way, I am working on a series of animations right now for various purposes. I am currently working on some of the hand drawn elements, but they are going to include a lot more than just that.
